We went on a picnic to Fox Island and the dogs enjoyed themselves very much. We got a table near the volleyball court and they barked at every ball that came our way. They enjoyed hotdogs with us and then a family came to the next table with -- a baby. They crept to the edge of their blanket and kept their eyes on the little prize, clearly fascinated with the happy little person who was smaller than they were. These pictures were from that day and they both were feeling very photogenic. Bella is such a watchful dog, I couldn't get her to look to me but she's still a beauty:
